Homecoming Exhibition of Opa! Uma Alegre Revelação
This coming July, ITOCHU AOYAMA ART SQUARE will present a homecoming exhibition of Opa! Uma Alegre Revelação by fashion designer Junko Koshino and contemporary artist Go Yayanagi. The original exhibition was held at the Instituto Tomie Ohtake art museum in São Paulo for two months from this past January and generated a significant local response, with major Japanese and Brazilian media reporting on the event. The July homecoming exhibition will display works of Junko Koshino and Go Yayanagi that were exhibited in São Paulo, together with a Junko Koshino-produced exhibit of snail art made by children of Japan and Brazil. Due to take place as the FIFA World Cup 2014 reaches its climax, this exhibition project aims to develop a new Japan-Brazil exchange relationship through art.
